RMtv - April 2016
The Queen visits Windsor delivery office on the eve of her 90th birthday. The event was part of Royal Mail's celebrations of 500 years of the UK postal service.
This edit was completed by Dave alone, within 24 hours of the Queen's visit and the final film distributed to all Royal Mail staff the next day.

VIRGIN MEDIA
Fast Start Promo.
Filmed on a freezing cold Skegness beach in November (poor chap!), this was a promo of an incentive package for Virgin Media Retail staff.

Corporate Video
Dave has worked on a wide range of corporate videos over the years. The showreel below demonstrates the breadth of his work as producer, camera operator and editor. Short Fiction Films
Away from the corporate world, Dave also enjoys working on short fiction films, in collaboration with Lincoln-based writer and director Steve Young. Their first three short films were shown at film festivals throughout the UK, including Sci-Fi London, and are enjoyed by wider audiences online. All three of the films were self-funded by the production team and realised on a minimum budget.
The films can be viewed via Steve's website. For each film, Dave's role was producer and cinematographer.
Event and Charity Films
Some of Dave's most rewarding times behind the camera have been where the film is for an event or charity - whether that be supporting a Land's End to John O'Groats cycling challenge, a 24-hour football marathon, a year-long running challenge, or community events - it's always amazing to see the power of film bring these stories to life.

About Dave
EDITOR
Dave has a full editing setup within his home office, with a MacBook Pro and Adobe Premiere CC ready to go. He's flexible as to where he
works, and is more than happy to work with you on-site to ensure your film is as you want it. International travel is not a problem either!
He specialises in fast-turnaround content-based editing, whether that be promos, social media clips, news packages, interviews or event
highlight films.
He's also skilled in DaVinci Resolve, After Effects & Photoshop.
PRODUCER
Dave has experience of managing a wide range of projects, from low budget fiction films to complex motion graphics projects for large
multinational companies.
As a seasoned camera operator and editor, he works closely with the crew when planning shoots and overseeing post-production, and
understands their demands and requirements.
He's an excellent problem-solver, and has strong budgeting and reporting skills.
Across all types of projects, he has experience in actor casting, directing voiceover artists, kit hire, risk assessments, insurance, working with
minors and copyright, amongst others.
CAMERA OPERATOR
Dave loves the Canon C300, but also have extensive experience with the Canon C100, Sony FS700 and a multitude of other cameras.
He's happy to use in-house or rental kit too. He's experienced in using gimbals such as the DJI Ronin, both handheld and attached to tracking
vehicles.
LOCATION & TRAVEL
Dave is currently living in Leamington Spa, UK. Central London is easily accessible.
Having worked on projects all over the world, he's familiar with Visas, Carnets, and the other challenges of overseas shoots.
He owns a car (Ford Focus), and has a clean driving licence and valid UK Passport.

Dave's day rates are flexible, and are based on a number of factors.
He's also happy to discuss block bookings and project-by-project rates.
